Very clean stock unmodified Texas born and raised 1st year of this body style Honda Prelude base Vtec. Although, to be honest, not sure it's ever seen it's Vtec capabilities, I hear good things but I can't seem t bring myself to revving that high, too conservative. I've shifted at 4500 a few times and she starts to purr beautifully but I'm always near the speed limit when I get there, so not sure I'll ever hear/feel the Vtec I hear so much about. Also, I am the third owner, and youngest by far at 40 years old. The story is, and the records seem to show that a couple in their 70's bought the car new near Dallas. She grew up (slowly I'm sure) there until about 5 years ago when it was sold in an estate sale to a commercial banker in his late 50's here near Austin whom I acquired the car from about 5 months ago. I love it but I bought it due to driving my 80's Toyota 4x4 as my daily driver and I needed to rebuild the suspension on it and could not be down for more than a day so I started looking for a fun DD. Now I need a 4 door DD as I'm recently married and we're talking kids now. This was it and I have thoroughly enjoyed it, get compliments at every other convenience store. It's got a slew of records I'll give over including timing belt change at 49k. She's bone stock (except the bluetooth radio with wireless phone capability I had put in) but still have the factory in a box if you want it, not dogged, purrs like a kitten, AC and heat work great, has just under 114k miles but I do drive it 5 days a week to work about 20 miles one way. The Firestone tires look and feel new, they are maybe a year old. The recipe is in there too. Power windows and moonroof work fine, brakes feel great. You will se fading of paint on the top surfaces, I originally wanted to have the top repainted one day, the sides are fine. A fresh tint job would do wonders as well as that old tint really cheapens a car in my opinion. Send me any questions you may have!
